Echo Chambers

You know, we all just echo each other. You say it, I repeat it. I tend to listen more with those I agree with rather than have my cognitive biases bashed and listen to the opposing opinion or argument.

Once in a while we get an original thought, from the Originator when we let go of our prejudices, biases  and know-it-all isms.

and also, one of us gets a great idea: invent an airplane, a car, a computer, a phone that you can carry around, a message of truth that those who hide in darkness hate, because they will be revealed and the shame of being seen is too bright to bear. Because if you see me, you’ll reject me and no one will be there and I will scream in the dark cave and only hear my scream come back to me. Someone, be there, someone love me, someone care, someone help me fight against those who hurt and take and kill.

Oh, I see, I am supposed to be one of those people too. Want a friend, someone to support you and be happy for you, then send that out. Give what you didn’t get and then the good you send out with a loving intention, does come back.

Also, we are too sensual. Sensual as in senses, seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting it. Is there really a blue sky above this ceiling. Is there really a sunlight beyond the overhead lights?

1.

Lord, speak to me, that I may speak
In living echoes of Thy tone;
As Thou hast sought, so let me seek
Thy erring children lost and lone.
2
O lead me, Lord, that I may lead
The wandering and the wavering feet;
O feed me, Lord, that I may feed
Thy hungering ones with manna sweet.
3
O strengthen me, that while I stand
Firm on the rock, and strong in Thee,
I may stretch out a loving hand
To wrestlers with the troubled sea.
4
O teach me, Lord, that I may teach
The precious things Thou dost impart;
And wing my words, that they may reach
The hidden depths of many a heart.
5
O give Thine own sweet rest to me,
That I may speak with soothing power
A word in season, as from Thee
To weary ones in needful hour.
6
O fill me with Thy fulness, Lord,
Until my very heart o’erflow
In kindling thought and glowing word,
Thy love to tell, Thy praise to show.
7
O use me, Lord, use even me,
Just as Thou wilt, and when, and where,
Until Thy blessed face I see,
Thy rest, Thy joy, Thy glory share!

There is a blue sky above the classroom lights. there is an abundance coming to me beyond current circumstances. It’s all there just waiting to be revealed. Let there be light.  the Ancient Greeks could have had cell phones. Everything in its time.

When you struggle, you don’t like what you have and want what you don’t have. For a free heart, try an experiment. Want what you have and don’t want what you don’t have. Here you will find true fulfillment.”

also, I am substitute teaching today in a science class: lacrimal fluid is crying. Made me think of the Flower Duet from LACME which I can play on the harp.
